- 05 Dec 2004: Priscilla Ribic set a world
record of 150.5kg and took the gold medal in the women's 67.5kg category at the 2004 IPF
World Bench Press Championships in Cleveland, Ohio yesterday.
- 30 Nov 2004: Inger Blikra, Monica Porter and Joanne Schaefer-Williams all won
medals at the 2004 EPF Women's European Powerlifting Championships in Trencin, Slovakia last
weekend.
- 07 Sep 2004: Following user feedback, the ranking page has been redesigned to make navigation
easier.
- 30 Jul 2004: The list of cycling track events has been expanded to include the sprint, team-sprint, keirin, madison and points-race.
- 28 Jul 2004: Adding multiple results has been made easier
as the country, sport, discipline and event fields are now
pre-selected, based on the users most recent database entry.
- 23 Jul 2004: The minor http header bug that was preventing some users from
successfully registering has been fixed.
- 15 Jul 2004: Cycling is the sixth sport on the Athlete ID website - road
and track events are now available in the database.
- 16 Jun 2004: Triathlon is the fifth sport to be added to the Athlete ID database.
- 10 Jun 2004: Athlete ID member Priscilla Ribic (USA1972F1)
won the 67.5kg category at the 2004 Women's World Powerlifting
Championships in Cahors, France on Saturday.
- 07 Jun 2004: Long-course and short-course swimming have been added to the Athlete ID results database.
- 01 June 2004: Beta-testing is now complete and the
Athlete ID website is fully open for individual registration.
- 30 May 2004: Following extensive feedback, the Athlete ID
system has been modified and is now based on nationality at registration
than country of birth.
- 28 May 2004: Drug-test results can now be validated by
either uploading a scanned document to the Athlete ID site or providing
a link to a web page.
- 18 Feb 2004: The site has been transfered to a new server, in
order to improve bandwidth and reliability.
- 17 Feb 2004: In response to user feedback, it is now possible
for users to record which country their competitions took place in, toge
h the competition round (quarter-final, semi-final, final etc). The bug
evented out-of-comp drug-test results being added has been fixed.
- 13 Feb 2004: The type of competition (eg
National u20 Championships) and placing are now included with each resul
recorded in the database. Users are asked to login and add competition a
placing data to their existing results.
- 11 Feb 2004: The results database structure has been modified
allowing drug-test data to be included with each competition result. A
drug-testing summary is now included in the Athlete profile and the
presentation of results for multi-discipline sports has been improved.
- 02 Feb 2004: A small group of Beta testers has been invited t
te the website.
- 30 Jan 2004: The results database software has been rewritten
in order to accomodate multi-discipline sports.
- 08 Jan 2004: The Athlete ID website is now live.
